Dutch-based fashion designer Angelle Chang launched her first fashion charity show in Hong Kong last 13 March 2016.
Entitled ” Perfect Imperfections,” the fashion show was in collaboration with BEAM International Organization. Headquartered in Hong Kong, BEAM provides free surgeries for underpriviledged children born with cleft clips and/or cleft palates in China.
In 2013, Chang created the Jowin fashion line. She named it after her son who was born with a cleft lip to help boost Jowin’s confidence.
The event attracted both local and international talents from actors to designers as well as the involvement of children such was the case of Xueli, a girl born with albinism.
The show was held at the residence of the Dutch Consul General of Hong Kong.
